Spirit Days at HAB- Every Friday Wear Your Blue!
We welcome all students to wear their HAB t-shirts or the color blue. HAB t-shirts are $10.00 and can be purchased at our Thursday Snack Shack days or at the office. HAB t-shirts make a great keepsake!

Soft Entry Begins for Kindergarten Students
Wednesday, April 3rd:
- Soft Entry for Kindergarten starts
- 7:50-8:00 for AM Kinder
- 11:35-11:39 for PM Kinder
Benefits of Soft Entry:
- Students can connect with their teacher and classmates
- Students may choose an activity that helps them feel ready for learning
- Students can ease into their day knowing they have time to organize themselves and checkout the agenda for the day
May 8th Hats on for Mental Health
A call to be compassionate and kind to oneself will be highlighted on this day. Students are welcomed to wear a hat on this day to show each other support in taking steps to be kind to oneself.
Some ideas to feel good and understanding of your own needs:
- Sleep and rested for 9 hours
- Listen to some music
- Exercise for 30 mins 3x in a week
- Talk with someone when something is bothering my thinking
- Taking deep breaths to feel good again
- Read a book or comic for 30 mins
- Choose a healthy snack
- Spend 30 mins. or more outside
- Asked someone for help
- Said a positive thought about myself
- Spent time with a friend/loved one
