First Day of Classes
Office Opens
School office is open to parents on September 2, 2025. School office hours are from 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM. All registrations are processed online. Register with us!
Welcome back all HAB families!
Our doors will be open at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. We would like to invite parents to bring their children to the school to meet their new teacher at their assigned doors. Families will receive a welcome email from teachers on August 278, informing you of who your child's homeroom teacher will be. Teachers will meet their students on the first day of classes at their assigned entrance doors. The teacher names/grades will be posted on the doors as a reminder of where to pick your child up at the end of the day. There will be staff on hand to help answer questions and help get students to their teacher.
- Grade 1 doors – North doors (soccer field) North East doors
- Grade 2 doors – Parking lot doors
- Grade 3 doors – New Portable Doors (back field)
- Grade 4 doors – North East Door (in the middle of the wall)
- EES - please come in the front doors of the school
- Kindergarten – North Compound Doors (in the corner by the small field) Please meet the teachers at the North Compound doors at your assigned staggered entry times. The time you should arrive is on your package you received in June. We will have two people at the front doors of the school to greet and direct you.

Kindergarten
Staggered entry will occur on September 2, 3, and 4. Your child has been assigned a specific hour to attend. Please meet the teachers at the Kindergarten entry doors (North Compound). Please wait for the teachers to come out and invite you into the school right before your scheduled time. Your scheduled time can be found in your email. It also aligns with the coloured paper in your welcome package.

1:00-2:15 ALL Afternoon (PM) students (Purple and Green)
Thursday, September 4
8:30 - 10:30 ALL Morning (AM) students (Orange and Blue)
12:00-2:00 ALL Afternoon (PM) students (Purple and Green)
Friday, September 5
Start following regular calendar and hours. Morning Kindergarten only. No afternoon Kindergarten
Week of September 7-11 You will receive an email indicating who your child's homeroom teacher will be.
Assigned Teachers
On the first day of school, all students are asked to come into the school through their assigned entrance doors and proceed to their classroom. Teachers will contact each family via email on August 28th. A reminder to ensure that you have a pick up plan in place so your child(ren) know where to meet you after school.

School Supplies
Students supplies are provided by the school for children in Kindergarten through Grade 4. Families are to provide indoor shoes, backpacks, lunch, and snacks. You may also choose to send your child with a water bottle.
